Walking with communities – now a book!

Cover of walking with communities book

The book Walking with Communities was launched in March and can now be ordered from amazon.co.uk.

Both the content and the presentation are outstanding – see the preview chapter! [7.5 MB]

The book is presented in short chapters, with each chapter presenting a prominent theme from the three decades of practice. The themes are evoked from the Ian's 30-day walk of the U.K.'s Southwest Track and his encounters with community along the way.

In a recent article about the book Alison Rader Campbell and Ian Campbell are interviewed. The article describes the book as an innovative experiential memoir that uses a four-week walk around the south-west of the United Kingdom to capture a 30-year pilgrimage of global and local health and healing.

During the walk itself a running account was published each day.

Further information about the book is available from the Salvation Army.
